CBI (Confederation of British Industries) acknowledged last week(article here) that Britain’s economy is in”good shape” amid a backdrop of strong economic growth as well as low unemployment and inflation. The CBI supports outsourcing, increasingly being carried out by the UK financial sector, arguing that it actually leads to companies having to better train staff at home in order to remain competitive. This is a positive news for the Romanian IT outsourcing companies as according to British ambassador in Romania, Mr. Quinton Quayle, UK is one of the main investors in Romania with more than 1.2 billion EURO (article in Romanian here).
