Microsoft has just announced (article here) that their are going to offer starting this Tuesday their own version of antivirus software. The nice part is that their software is based on the technology that Microsoft purchased from a Romanian antivirus firm, GeCAD Software Srl., for an undisclosed amount in 2003.
