Outsourcing firm goes Romanian

I ran into this article today here about a Greek company opening an outsourcing center in Romania. I know as a fact that, for years, Greece has been (and still is) an outsourcing destination in IT for European companies. However this was never highlighted in mass media strongly due to the fact as back then, “outsourcing” was not so much of a buzz-word.

Now, the fact that Greek companies acting in outsourcing field consider Romania as a destination, comes as a proof that Romania can be a long-term view in this area and not something where we will remain competitive only until we will join EU. What is good for business now, should be used. We can no longer expect to know what will happen in 10 years. Managers are nowadays more like explorers rather than visionars.
