Outsourcing to Romania…. in concrete numbers!

Thanks to the wonderful support of the people from Frost &Sullivan, i was able to find out and publish unique information on concrete numbers of the IT outsourcing industry to Romania.

Number of IT Jobs Acquired by Subsidiaries and Outsourcers Based in Romania – From January 2002 through December 2004, Romania obtained approximately 31,100 IT jobs from the USA, UK, France, Germany, Japan, Hong Kong.


Value of IT Jobs Exported to Romania – From January 2002 to December of 2004, Romania has obtained $1.83 billion dollars worth of IT jobs from the USA, UK, France, Germany, Japan, Hong Kong (value of jobs was determined by adding up the value of the positions exported to Romania before they left the country of origin).
