Outsourcing to Romania – How much will cost me? February, 2005

Promised some time ago, I finally had the time to start and finalize the survey. Conducted from 16th of February 2005 to 4th of March 2005, the study gathers concrete numbers on the prices offered by the Romanian IT outsourcing industry when they lease an employee to a client or a project.

However, the figures presented should be solely used only as a reference since various companies offer discounts to larger projects, first time customers or might even increase the price for the short-term projects. The rates are presented in two main categories: task and technology used. The min/average and max have been calculated from the figures presented by those who answered the survey. For example, an average an Expert Developer costs to rent 17EUR/hour, a Senior Developer 14.3 EUR/hour and a Junior Developer 9.7 EUR/hour. More details and data in the document here.
