Alcatel investing EUR 1 million in a software R&D center

Alcatel is investing EUR 1 million in a software research and development center in Romania. The center is specialized in railroads safety systems. Currently there are 50 software engineers working in the center, but this figure will increase with an additional 150 engineers by 2006. The research center will develop Alcatel solutions for the Balkans and CSI countries. Continue reading
