Another Romanian succes story

Deployed by more than 10,000 companies in 50 countries, JasperReports reporting engine was originally developed as an open source application by software developer Teodor Danciu from Romania. A new company called JasperSoft has formed to invest in JasperReports and offer support, services, training and complementary commercial products for JasperReports. Continue reading

Romania, first place among European countries

4 gold medals, one silver and one bronze for the Romanian students which took part in the International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO) organized from 8 to 19 iulie in Merida, Yucatan, Mexic. The International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO) is the World Championship Mathematics Competition for High School students and is held annually in a different country. Continue reading
