GECIS, previously covered here announce that will open an office in Bucharest, in august this year. “Our expansion into Romania is key to the value proposition we give to our European customers, including global delivery of services and the highest standards of process quality” said Pramod Bhasin, president of Gecis Global. GECIS will have 170 employees in Bucharest and has the capacity to extend to 1,500. This comes as a major news for the Romanian outsourcing companies, as once the major Indian players in the outsourcing market come to Romania to provide global outsourcing services, competition will be even stronger between the Romanian companies providing outsourcing and the Indian ones as both will operate on Romanian ground! Experience, a strong business model, a long with an establish client base are strong arguments for the Indian companies against emerging Romanian companies offering same services.
