Romania is the lowest cost provider in the nearshoring group from EMEA countries

The “Offshore & Nearshore ITO Salary Report 2004� published by NeoIT in May this year offers insights over the wages in the IT industry over the globe. The study also reveals that the wage rate takes 35-45% of the total costs in offshore outsourcing and 55-65% of costs in nearshore outsourcing.

The average ITO Salaries table rates for the EMEA region shows that in Hungary the average annual salary for an Entry Level IT position is $14,112, Team Leader (2-3yr experience) is $22,211 and Manager (5-8yr experience) is $35,805. For Poland the rates are $15,900 , $26,028 and $41,616 for the same positions. On regard to Romania, the rates are $8,736 , $13,856 and $22,328 for the tasks.
