Google (re)started the business operations in Romania through a direct mailing campaign and an online campaign. The eye the Romanian online advertisement market estimated at 19m euro. The activities are co-ordinated from their European HQ in Ireland by a team of 10 people.
Google had also plans to open a development office in Romania at Iasi but with the difficulties in find the right candidates (at the boom of the Romanian outsourcing industry in 2008) they had scrap the plans.
