On lack of promotion of the Romanian IT outsourcing industry

Present at Oracle Day in Bucharest, the CEO of Oracle Romania (Sorin Mindrutescu) said that there are major IT companies with a big presence in Romania (Oracle, Microsoft, HP, IBM), justified by the business aspect. However, a disadvantage is the lack of promotion of these success stories, promotion that would have helped to increase this business in Romania. I always admired the much stronger Indian IT promotion done by their governing bodies such as Nasscom (a kind of ARIES and ANIS in Romania) that together with the gov do a much better in job for both the promotion and quality improvement of the services.
